unerwarteter Schritt, aber es werden neue Projekte genauso entstehen/bleiben.
Glaub nicht, dass die da jetzt so 100%ig aus dem Biz draußen sind.

Usenet hat halt wieder was mit Bezahlsystem zu tun & für was zahlen was auch nicht sooo legal is ist für viele ein Hindernis.

länger verfügbar ist es auf keinen fall. bezüglich verfügbarkeit schenken sich die beiden nichts.

im usenet hast spätestens nach ablauf der binary retention zeit probleme mit den files (nur mit viel glück/PARs nicht). ob das danach wieder geuppt wird ist ebenfalls mit glück oder request verbunden.

und bei torrent hast halt das seed/completion problem. im endeffekt liegen beide ziemlich gleich auf. (wobei es dank giganews mit bald 1 jahr retention eher zugunst usenet geht, da geb ich schon recht. aber das ist ein anbieter von vielen

)

schau dir mal die sachen von eztv an, 63 byte gross weils gefiltert werden ...

sry, aber das ist unwissen. die meisten dinge erscheinen zu erst im usenet und werden erst dann über einen torrent tracker der allgemeinheit zugänglich gemacht!

auch ist die lebensdauer vom usenet sehr gering, selbst mit den retention der diversen anbieter sind torrent meist länger verfügbar. (von ausnahmen wie giganews die ein jahr retention anbieten mal abgesehen.)

der vorteil beim usenet liegt definitiv in der geschwindigkeit, bei der weitergabe wie auch beim empfang.

Ja anscheinend lieg ich da sehr falsch.
Ich hab für mich persönlich mal ein paaaaaar Tests gemacht und bin immer zum Schluss gekommen, dass im Torrent Netzwerk "afoch ollas" is, und im Usenet leider nicht. (Ich glaub giganews war das wo ich geschaut hab).
Hab allein von 5 Bands (da halt eben nicht so mainstream sind) gerade mal eine gefunden, hingegen im Torrent Netzwerk recht viel von allen 5.

Aber is ja nun auch egal, darum gehts nicht wirklich
