"...“Noise canceling” headphones have been around for awhile, but only recently have the prices dropped to levels most of us can afford. While the BOSE Quiet Comfort 2 still reigns supreme in both price and performance, dozens of manufacturers, have introduced competing models at a fraction of the cost. A good example is Altec Lansing’s AHP 712i which sells at just a quarter of the price.

Altec Lansing’s AHP 712i active noise reduction headphones are geared directly for travel. While they do greatly reduce ambient noise, they require the ANR system to be activated for good sound quality. Since this system produces an audible amount of white noise, they will not replace your old headphones. Despite this, they produce an excellent bass response and good clarity. With a street price less than one quarter that of the Bose models, these headphones fill a niche role in the suitcase of a growing number of practical frequent flyers..."

Würde mich interessieren wie das Ding so performt... für LAN's sicher ganz interessant, trotzdem glaub ich nicht, dass das Ding besser abschirmt als Sennheiser DJ-Kopfhörer
