Comparison @ Legion HardwareWell there you have it, the second revision of the X1900GT is in fact slower than the original. ATI did make an effort to cover up the weaker core of this second revision, which they did by using faster memory. However, the 63MHz slower core was not properly compensated for by the 120MHz faster memory, which resulted in any where from a 3~9% performance loss at 1600x1200. Some of you probably might not think much of this and while it’s not the end of the world, it is more the principal of the thing.
Should ATI, or Nvidia for that matter, be able to change the specifications of existing products when they feel like it, the standard of graphics cards would really go down the drain. Although ATI are quietly calling this the “2nd revision” of the X1900GT, manufacturers will not be specifying whether they are selling the original or this newer slower version of the X1900GT. Although the standard performance of the X1900GT only took a small performance hit, overclocking the X1900GT is not going to be nearly as successful now that the core has been crippled.

die sollten sich mal auf eine ordentliche bezeichnung einigen. und anstatt sinnlose aktionen zu reissen, solltens die standardkühler lieber ne spur leiser bzw. bei der lautstärke effektiver machen

Bei der Rev. kann man leider nicht mehr die Spannung von Chip und RAM ändern!
