nachdem das update auf 25.04 out of the box auch keine verbesserung gebracht hat probiere ich gerade steam via apt statt snap. bis jetzt ists vielversprechend, das lahme internet macht die versuche aber nicht besonders lustig.

DRG hat funktioniert, portal1 nicht. aber fortschritt ist fortschritt. ich werd meine hauptinstallation auf 24.10 nachziehen, kernel mesa und firmware updaten und snap-steam kübeln.

Deswegen ist Ubuntu verschriehen. Snaps bringen viel Bloat mit. Am besten immer die verfügbare APT source nehmen. Steam gibt es aber auch als .deb file das du mit apt install ./steam.deb installieren kannst.

ganz rund läufts leider noch nicht. BG3, DRG, phasmo etc laufen normal, KCD2 und KSP1 nicht - beide bildschirme werden schwarz, die spiele laufen aber im hintergrund weiter (musik und ingame sounds). schwarze bildschirme hatte ich auch nachdem der pc die bildschirme ausgeschaltet hat und ich ihn wieder aufgeweckt habe. interessanterweise verhalten sich die bildschirme so als wär wäre der pc im energiesparmodus (leds blinken)

Zum Debuggen von sowas am besten von mit einem anderen Rechner aus via ssh hinverbinden, waehrend das passiert, und dann das Kernel-Log (`dmesg`) seit nach-dem-Spielstart studieren.

Sonst mal den output von journalctl -b-1 (-1 ist der boot vor dem jetzigen) anschaun.

Ist bei mir ähnlich. Ich muss Steam flatpak auch noch Mesa-git nachladen und den Container für SC updaten. Steam ist einfach nur schwarz und SC hat ca. 1 frame per minute. lol Sollt kein Drama sein, komm aber erst am Abend dazu. Hab zwar System Mesa vorab eh gecheckt und ist auf 25, aber vergessen dass der schas im Container läuft.
