Review @ NextGen ElectronicsAlright - you want a top of the line video card, you want all the features in the world, and you want to pay a decent price for it. You're perhaps dubious about ATI ... they're not the mainstream, you've heard rumors they perform better ... but should you buy it? Well, as you can tell from the benchmarks the ATI All In Wonder 9800 goes toe-to-toe with nVidia's top performing card, but sells for a lower street price. Now throw in the fact that this card can import in your cable television, acts as a video capture card, and comes with the Remote Wonder (NGE Editor's Choice award winner) which allows you to control your television set through a useful and easy-to-use remote control ... well you get the picture pretty quick that this card is the way to go.
We actually were able to hook up the card to an HDTV device and found that the card performs admirably, not "incredibly" , but well enough. There's actually a lot of potential in this card with HDTV support, so for those of you that want to show off your system on the top video monitors, you have the opportunity to hook it up to your regular monitor (use of included adapter required), you can use the DVI output, S-Video out, or the HDTV output.
