Review bei DriverheavenSo today we see how much of an improvement the MARS card is over a standard GTX 295 but we won’t stop there... we will also pair two of these cards in SLI to create a configuration which is essentially the same as GTX 285 Quad SLI. The first thing that struck us about the MARS is that it’s huge. This may not be clear from a glance at the pictures but as we will show shortly this card is significantly larger than the GTX295.
Crysis Warhead The MARS gives us much more acceptable performance with only a single stutter during our testing. Add a second MARS and the game is flawless, additionally we could increase the resolution to 2560x1600 and still maintain playability with two cards.
...light overclocking on the MARS. This involved increasing the core to 700MHZ, memory to 1200MHz and shader to 1500MHz. At these speeds the card ran without issue when set to 100% fan at all times.
ny card which contains 4 GB of memory and two GTX 285s is going to be fast and this did not disappoint. It was so impressive in terms of performance that it was often hard to find scenarios which caused any sort of problem for the card, let alone two of them.
There is of course one downside and that is the noise generated by the cooler. These are very loud cards... if not the loudest on the market and really will require a case with decent soundproofing or a set of headphones to isolate users from the noise when gaming.
In terms of the actual specification it seems that this is a little overpriced, a single GTX285 2 GB costs as little as £270 so double that and we get £540 which is well below the single MARS price.

wie erwartet ziemlich "overpriced", laut und braucht viel saft, aber immerhin kann man mit 2(!) karten crysis mit 2560x1600 sehr flüssig spielen. btw. die diagramme im artikel dort, finde ich recht gut gemacht.
