Please suggest me an cooler for AMD 64 3200+ overclock as much as possible and as much possible silent. I already have AMD 64 3000+ S.754 Boxed version and know they are so cold working. Not like XP version curently it works at 35-40 without even starting the FAN. But I'm going to buy a new PC soon with 3200+ S.939 version and wanted to try some overclock evn I'm not sure if I really need to overclock it ;o).

English replies please ;o)

I'm not really sure about the temperatures but you could use a Zalman 7000/7700? ;)

btw: warum englisch? o0

i have a coolermaster hyper 6 working in my rig.
performs very well and due to the fact that you can mount every 80mm fan on it (ok, two fans, one on each side ;)) you can even get moderate noise-levels.

there are some other coolers like the hyper 6, but theres no great difference between them.

ya thanks .dcp I'm currently not from austria or germany. Still a little bit hard to understand most of german spec.
btw I have some more detailed question about coolers on AMD 64
which one of these will be best to use as your opinions:
1. Thermalright XP 120
2. Zalman CNPS 7000 B - CU
3. Zalman CNPS 7700 - CU
4. Arctic Freezer 64

I wouldn't think 'bout buying the xp120 cause its real big, and won't fit on most of the boards. Even if, you still have to bend some transistors, afaik. If, then I would get the xp90 its small(er) but fits(on most boards) I have the Msi Neo2, so I dont know about the others boards, but on mine it doubles as a RAM cooler which is a nice extra feature

looks like an ugly hyper 6 to me.

2 things that bother me:

1st: you obviously cant change the fan(s?), eventhough the holder looks interresting, and
2nd: dunno if aluminium instead of copper was the better solution (refering to the hyper 6)

I no have idea to change the fan if it is low noise and good cooling as tech data: about 21dBa noise is very good for me and about 20-22 degree.

just wanted to know if anyone have or has tested the cooler at all how is it.
