TLS 1.3 ist btw noch nicht möglich bei uns, weil das offizielle haproxy-Paket bei Debian nicht ausreichend aktuell ist (Überraschung). Ich werde auf eine backport-Source wechseln sobald ich Zeit habe.

TLS 1.3 würde ich auch noch nicht einsetzten. Erst mal reifen lassen, Vorallem die Implementierungen.

certbot funktioniert bei mir auch problemlos. ich habe sogar eine email-benachrichtigung von lets encrypt bekommen weil nach dem ubuntu upgrade der certbot nimmer lief.

Es gibt haufenweise alternative Clients, auch wenn Certbot für mich immer sehr zuverlässig funktioniert hat.
