ich will in eine tabelle eine zeile einfügen. ist es möglich, daß ich in einem die zeile einfüge und diese zeile auch gleich wieder abfrage?

grund: mittels auto_incement wird eine id erhöht. wird nun eine zeile eingefügt, bekommt sie eine id und eben die würde ich gerne wissen.

auf die idee, daß ich dafür bei php suchen könnte, wäre ich nie gekommen.
