Wir arbeiten seit längerem an einem sehr erfolgreichen Modestartup welches nächstes Jahr launchen wird. Wir suchen hierfür Verstärkung im Developer Team.

Leute die eigene Projekte oder Ideen bereits umgesetzt haben sind bevorzugt.

Developer (m/f) - 2 positions - Vienna

We are looking for keen, passionate and talented web development professionals to expand our team.

Garmz.com is an internet platform that enables creatives and end-customers to develop fashion garments together, the best of them will then be produced, delievered and sold all over the world. Our visionary objective is to change the fashion world itself.

Currently we are starting the platform from scratch and launch closed beta in March 2010. The technology stack of the platform is: PHP5/Zend, Memcache, PostgreSQL, Nginx and Varnish.

Garmz is following an approach we call "user driven development". This means we have short sprints, early deliveries, frequent tests and prompt feedback for every new feature.

We are looking for a 25h to 40h/week commitment - 2 positions are free.
We are based in Vienna/Austria.

Experiences / Skills:

• Fluent in English
• Excellent Knowledge in PHP
• Excellent Knowledge in Major Web Frameworks, preferable in PHP - Bonus: Zend Framework.
• Knowledge and own Opinion about Software-Architectures
• Bonus: Knowledge and Experience in Large Scale Projects and Problems
• Good Knowledge of Javascript and Frameworks (preferable JQuery)
• Experience in AJAX Applications
• An "no version control - no go" attitute. We use SVN currently and will switch to Git.
• Bonus: Experience with SCRUM
• Bonus: Experience with Linux Environments
• Bonus: Experience with Continuous Integration Practices and Tools
• Bonus: Experience with Selenium
• Big Bonus if you have started your own web project in your spare time.
