Review @ HardwareZoneLike its automotive equivalent, the Ra X10 Liquid is breathtaking in its looks, yet supremely functional and usable. It is quite simply, one of the best casings we've seen. During our time spent with it, we found the layout to be very sensible, making installation an absolute breeze. It is highly evident that IKONIK spent a lot of time and effort into making the case. On top of that, the quality and overall feel of the casing suggests elegance.
Unfortunately, at this point, we must remind you of the old adage, "You pay for what you get". We are not even going to try and sugar coat it, the Ra X10 Liquid costs a wallet-wringing US$495 (S$732). And no matter what, that's a lot for a casing, which means that the Ra X10 Liquid will almost definitely be out of reach for most users. However, if buckets of money are what you have, then you most certainly can't go wrong with the Ra X10 Liquid. It is quite simply one of the best casings you'll ever come across.
For the rest of us, take consolation in the fact that IKONIK has two other variations in the form of the Ra X10 SIM and Ra X10 Smooth. The Ra X10 SIM is identical to its Liquid cousin in every way and differs only due to its lack of an in-built liquid cooling system. The Ra X10 Smooth, on the other hand, is the most basic casing of the lot and does away with both the liquid cooling system and IKONIK's SIM thermal management system. Being less well-equipped, these casing are naturally more "affordable". The Ra X10 SIM goes for US$379 (S$561), whereas the Ra X10 Smooth costs US$370. It's not that much cheaper of course but if you don't need the missing features and want to save some for the rest of the PC components, they are alternatives to consider.
