Kazaa Lite K++ 2.4.0 released!

Changes:

- Block RIAA and other organizations from connecting, downloading and uploading to you.

- K++ default options have been changed to protect your privacy. By default: * Bad IP ranges, eg. the ones from the RIAA and others, are now blocked automatically by K++ thanks to the PeerGuardian IP range file. K++ blocks all these IP ranges from ever connecting to you (both TCP and UDP), and the connections are closed immediately without them getting a single bit from you.

- Kazaa K++ now has a Windows XP look

- Upload view, download view, and search view show windows
icons for each file name instead of the old blue icons.

- Several Kazaa bugs have been fixed, including the serious
Packet 0' Death FastTrack network vulnerability

- Supports multiple users installation. All users can use K++ without a problem. The installer sets the appropriate permissions on folders and registry keys.

- You can now re-download a file you've previously already started to download instead of getting a message such as "You've already started downloading this file. Check download view.". The reason you want this option is if you've cancelled a file (eg. by accident), and want to download it again. Previously, this was impossible, but now you can download it again.

- K++ options can now be easily changed while K++ is running, and without having to restart it in order for the changes to take effect.

ja sehr sehr fein! gefällt mir auch sehr gut... vA die Icons machens jetzt leichter, kein restart bei option-change is toll, und er is noch schneller als der letzte. gut gelungen

stimmt, is imho eins der größten mankos, dass ich bei 20 oder 30 dl's immer jedes einzeln canceln muss

also dass kann i ned bestätigen, bei mir beschränkt sich der ausfall auf 1-2 pro 100 gesaugten files (bei mp3s). hmm...

das kommt drauf an was du saugst, bei alten sachen ja aber bei aktuellen werden von der Musikindustrie Fakes eingeschleust zB: die neue Madonna Single, das neue Musealbum etc.

ich saug alles quer durch, nur halt weniger mainstream.

ein beispiel, alben wie von peace orchestra oder the 100th windows von massive attack, quer durch von morcheeba über tricky bis zu sf stiller, staind oder sonst was, eigentlich nie ein fake erwischt, und wenn doch mal (so gewesen bei 50 cent - 21 questions), dann lösch ichs halt, und such mir ein anderes mit einer anderen bitrate (256 statt 192 zb), und hab das lied halt beim 2. anlauf.

wie gesagt, imho führt kein weg an kazaa vorbei in sachen mp3
