ATI versucht natürlich ständig, seine Position im Grafikkarten-Markt zu verbessern und weiter auszubauen. Dies betrifft nicht nur Hardware, sondern auch Software, wie etwa die Anstrengungen, bessere und verlässlichere Treiber zu releasen.
Mit Catalyst will ATI nun mehr Funktionalität erreichen und die Fähigkeiten aller Radeon-basierenden Grafikkarten erweitern. Die wichtigsten Feature sind dabei SmartGart, neue Treiber inkl. Control Panel, neue Features zu Hydravision (v3.1) und Multimedia Center (v7.7), sowie Remote Wonder (v1.2). Den vollständigen Bericht gibt's hier.

hört sich gut an, besonders Remote-Control für TV gefällt mitr

The Remote Wonder is a remote control which uses (RF) Radio-Frequency to communicate with a transmitter connected to a USB port on a computer. Seit Dell die Dinger einbaut und wir in der Firma welche haben. (Radeon VE, und das Hydravision geht suboptimal, weil der Treiber da irgendwas mit Focus, Z-Order usw. pfuscht)
